The shadows and clouds hide my face,
For it is the night and darkness that I embrace
Do not fear me! Please don't
I'll not harm you, I promise I won't,
I am a man of honor, of strength of will
I see your body, your hair skin and eye
They cause in me a chill; for you I would die.
Tell me, why is it me you follow?
No! I shall not make you as I am, empty and hollow.
What is it you offer to me? . . . Love?
You've chosen the one emotion I am not capable of.
You. . . you want to help me?
I weep with my need to finally be free.
What brought you to me? What force did lead you asunder?
I cannot stay in the darkness, yet in the light , I would blunder
I shall always live in the shadows, yet I shall strive for the light.
And without you I would be tortured, in my endless forever night.
