Where the huge black orbs
Once danced, now rests
Empty impassive onyx.
Alone she stands facing the
Bridge between now and forever,
Unwilling to cross into the
Bright Oblivion
She fears the silence
The end of her pain
For she has never lived
Without it.
As her faithless companion.
