Life continues on with its weary procession.
To the gods of earth and love I make but one concession.
My wrist is opened for my faith in her.
And of me she'll drink for strength to endure.
My life for hers, and hers for mine,
Forever together we eternally entwine.
Our lives begin when first we touch,
Wanting forever our days as such.
Alas tonight: the day we part.
Our paradise gained is now paradise lost.
My emotions loose, wild and tossed.
Cause my tears to fall and my pain to hone.
For the nights by me will be spend alone.
